Pakistan’s new bowler Hassan Ali has shown tremendous performance in his ODI career since the beginning of his career. In just 24 ODIs only he has taken 50 wickets, becoming first bowler from Pakistan to show such quick progress and fame. With this performance he has toppled the record of Waqar Younus who attain such record in 27 matched.
Hassan Ali is the only bowler who set same number like Dennis Lillee, compared to Mitchell McClenaghan, Ajit Agarkar and Ajantha Mendis who got such land marks in 23 and 19 matches.
With his debut against Ireland in August of last year he got 11 wickets by the end of 2016, while in 2017 at rate of 17.77 he got 40 wickets in just 16 matches. Thus by the year 2017, till now he is the highest wicket taker.
Among the players since their debut, no bowler took wickets more than Hassan Ali which includes his name fifth number among all fast bowlers who took such number of wickets in on calendar year.

One of the feature in Hassan’s bowling is his success against both left and right handers. In his bag total number of wickets against right handers are 31 while 20 against left handers. In both years 2016-17 his economy is 5.15 and 5.23 respectively.
